How to order
For ordering articles you may use the form on the website or send an e-mail to contact@vintagewardrobe.ro specifying the item's code, your name and address and the date you wish to be sent the package.More details can be found in "How to buy" section.
Terminology
The terms used to describe the condition of a vintage item are :
1. mint - the article no defects, preserving the original condition of the product. In this category there are included that have never been worn but also items that have been worn but have no traces and / or defects.
2.. Excellent - the article does not present any major defect , but it is visibe that it has been used
4. Very good - the article is perfectly wearable and can present minor flaws (stains on the inside, small structural defects).
5. Good - item is wearable but requires repair (missing buttons, small scratches, etc.).
6. . "As It Is" - when this label appears next to an item, it means that the article does not fit into any of the categories above, the item being offered for sale as such. Faults will be notified in advance to the customer. Generally, this label applies to articles previous to 1920's, their preservation being almost impossible in perfect condition.
Depending on the articles' age, labels regarding "state" may also vary.
Questions regarding the "condition": please keep in mind that most of the articles on the site are vintage pieces, being minimum of 20 years old. So 'perfect' does not mean "new ". In the rare cases where an item is new, this will be specified.
Measures
In terms of vintage items, measures may vary a lot not only from one era to another, but also from country to country and on the manufacturer. The relevant terms for measures of a product will be: chest size (measured in centimeters), waist size, hip size, sleeve / cuff width, collar width, belt length, and length of the article itself.
On site there is also a "equivalence of measures" chapter: it is made using the international measutes chart, but this equivalence is relative. Please control the measures expressed in centimeters on each item and keep in mind that we do not accept returns on this basis. All these data will be provided for each article on the site with the size indicated on the label, if it exists.For correspondence measures for every country, please see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/clothing_sizes. Questions regarding Measures: Measures in centimeters are accurate and there is an equivalence with the intenational size chart. My request is to check the measurements in centimeters before ordering. The fact that an article does not fit you doesn not mean that there are measurement errors on the site.
Returns
All items are professionally cleaned before sshipping.
There may be some exceptions n leather and fur items.
Some items might have been repaired in advance, this detail being specified to the buyer in the "condition" chapter.
If the item has a problem whichhas not been solved , this will be also specified in the same place.
If the customer is unhappy with hispurchase, we will accept the return under certain conditions.
No returns for accessories, jewelry and items that were purchased without taking into account the measurements on the site. Each item is measured in the smallest details, so please take this into consideration when ordering.
Please keep in mind that almost all items are vintage or retro, so they are at least 20 years old. We do not send items jut for beying tried on or to be worn once and sent back.
No returns on sales or on items that have boon reserved more than two weeks.
All packages will be shipped back to the postal office OP 74 Bucharest only after return approval via email. Returns that do not meet this condition won't be taken into consideration.
The minimum order is 10 USD.
Questions regarding 'return' term:the terms of return presented above are validmunless there isn't a prior agreement. If you think you do not want a particular item or you do not like it and so on you may replace it with one or more articles on the site.
If there is my fault (mistaked items , mistakes regarding payment, other item than than the one you orderes ) the full amount will be paid back. "Accessories" mean the following: any item that is not included in the categories "vintage clothing", "lace", "china", "vintage photos & ephemera".
